Zeno Capital, the investment arm of the family office of Mr. Dimitris Georgakopoulou, has joined the expanded family of Helidoni Group. Helidoni Group has been active in the Greek market since 2022, investing in companies with a focus on zero waste and zero emissions, and participating in VCs with a similar angle. Helidoni Group also has interests in real estate and tourism sectors.

Furthermore, Alexis Zitridis, until now a senior executive of OTE Group and a part of the Helidoni Group team since 2022, will take over as Managing Director of Helidoni Group.

Mr Georgakopoulos commented: "The rebranding of Zeno Capital to Helidoni Group signals our commitment to support and expand our dynamic portfolio. Over the past two years, our team has supported 15 startups and early stage projects with capital and expert guidance. Our companies achieved significant progress. Indicitavely, in Q1 2024, BlueLayer raised over €5 million from international investors, while Brite Solar announced the completion of an €8.6 million Series A with the participation of New Energy Partners and the EIC."
