Robenso, the largest Greek company specializing in robotic sorting of recyclable materials, participated in the Panathēnea Festival, which took place last week in Athens. The company’s co-founder, Nikitas Mavrakis, took part in a thematic panel discussion focusing on the challenges faced by deeptech startups in their early stages of development.

During the discussion, key issues were examined, including the difficulty of securing funding for high-technology projects, the need for highly specialized and technically skilled teams, and the obstacles related to accessing appropriate infrastructure and support. Mr. Mavrakis shared Robenso’s experience, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships - such as its collaboration with Helidoni Group - and the value of sustainable technological and operational growth.

Robenso’s presence at the festival underscored its commitment to fostering innovation and advancing the circular economy in Greece, through the deployment of advanced robotic solutions in the recycling sector.
